Told her to be SURE it was tagged to ABC. She sent me a picture of the sticker they put on it: ‘to ABC’
Gets to DTW and uses the “track bag” function to see the bag is now circling the Detroit baggage claim instead of boarding flight 2 with her.
Any way to avoid this? No idea how but their scanners must have said to DTW. Perhaps because they break up the legs for non rev check ins? I had her checked in for both 20h prior
No expert but I always thought if it has the final destination on the tag it should end up there. Must've been an error, I've never checked a bag nonreving but I can't imagine the system for nonrevs can't handle flow through luggage.
