The point of my post wasn’t to start a s#%t slinging constest, it was just to say that a few bucks here or there doesn’t make a huge difference. There are large gains to be made in work rules.

I think the pension comment was in jest. Hence the smily face. Everyone needs to chill out.

As for the comment about this being a hiring thread. Alaska isn’t hiring until probably 2019 and if you are looking to move to a major airline for the rest of your career I would highly recommended considering somewhere else that has industry standard pay, job protections, and real work rules. Do your homework before you decide this is a great place to settle.
