Thats the problem, times have changed, I have an established family now with teenage kids. I can put mom back to work however on first year pay its rough. Im hearing first year at UPS and FDX is about 60-70 and me as the sole provider is worrisome.
Is it possible to have a second job while at Fedex? UPS is apparently ok with aviation related non flying jobs such as sim, class instructor as CAE or FSI etc. I don't have a lot of contacts in Memphis.
This may not even be feasible. Im 50 and making close to 2 bills where Im at. It would be rewarding finishing the career with a better company.
You will make 2 bills on 2nd year pay. You will have no time for second job and Mom will appreciate it even more when you don't kill yourself with work. Time for her to go back to work and you both can celebrate in 2 to 3 years!
