Could it be that the reason the company lawyer (Trans States Holdings) has gone back to flying is because he does not expect to have his airline/legal job for long? Might he expect to have to get a job with another airline to keep his ties to the industry when TSH is sold or closed? Why is he doing this?
I would think this would be very concerning to any pilot looking for a job at a regional. I think Gojet/TSA/Compass should address this if they want to keep hiring. I have meet many pilots who were in training when their airline shut down and nobody wants that to happen. On the other hand, you get training and an explanation why you left. Training at the next airline will be easier.
The good news is that in today’s environment the flying is not going away but is being shuffled. A person in training will probably be able to get a job at another regional within weeks if not less.
Yeah, he’s probably working on his currency for some reason. 🙄
