Why wouldn't they just go to Skywest and Endeavor in the first place instead of wasting 3 months of their life waiting to get furloughed. Great advice from the guy on the Titantic telling people to get out of the life boat because it's not as crowded on the deck.
Try reading the post. A guy gets 3 months of training and sim flying. Good experience for a CFI trying to improve his skills.
