What do you mean "get rid" of Pinnacle? NWA spun off Pinnacle in 2003, and now they have a 10-year service agreement with NWA for the CRJs.
The 10-year ASA with NWA has in it the ability for NWA to pull airplanes from Pinnacle if they fly more than 20 airplanes from another carrier (like Delta).
Pinnacle will soon be flying 16 CRJ-900's for Delta, and Phil said that 16 is only the beginning. They plan on flying many more for Delta. As soon as they go over 20, NWA starts pulling 200's and giving them to Mesaba.
