Not when they buy Centurion... Then we'll just merge again. I don't see a scenario where Atlas 1224 Teamsters ever votes on a contract unless we start winning court cases.

FYI, as much as management claims they didn't buy Southern just for the Amalgamation they insisted at the last Scope session on the Amalgamation clause remaining in our Scope language. Which begs to question... If it isn't a way for them to stick it to us then why are they insisting on it staying in the contract? If it's that important to them to keep that language then what do you think the odds are that they just buy some other weak 1224 carrier just before the next Arbitrated contract becomes amendable?

I wouldn't bank on anything ever changing at Atlas.
