A simple “congratulations on your TA- I’m sure your group will vote it up or down based on its merits” is more than enough.

Do what’s right for you, your pilot group, and your airline. You keep those in mind, you’ll be doing what’s right for the industry.
It’s absolutely ridiculous for a pilot from another airline to pretend to know what makes sense at your property.
