Delta and SWA had new and much better TAs about a year or so later after theirs got voted down it will probably be similar for JetBlue, and probably worth it in the long run.
But, but, I want a raise now!!! Screw thinking 6-8 years out. Or about our next contract, which will undoubtedly be easier to negotiate if this one is more solid than it is. And last but not least, screw the other airlines who are negotiating and pattern bargaining off of us as we lower the bar and make it harder for them to make gains, which in turn makes it hard to make gains for us later.
