Many pilots that live in ATL are/were ASA. It will be a cold day in SGU before they go to work for Skywest. Skywest has made quite a name for themselves in ATL.
I'm sure there are reasons why people from another air carrier might not want to go to SkyWest. I'm making the point that the pipeline for those not flying 121 but, thinking about SkyWest for their ATL base, is not that substantial either.
