Cross eye dominant and looking to change
Hello fellow pilots and shooters,
I am a cross dominant shooter (right hand, left eye). I am a good shot, practice regularly; problem is as I grow older, it seems my Left eye, which has always been my week one, is getting a little more so (Not enough to keep me from a 1st class) but enough to start to annoy me at the range.
I have had instructors tell me to force myself to shoot Right eye/Right hand and others swear by shooting with both eyes open (just say it takes some getting used to.)
Any other Cross Dominant shooters out there, thoughts, suggestions, proven results? Fire at will!
PS, I usually Carry a Sig 229 and for those that gave me suggestions a while ago for a smaller conceal handgun; I went with the Sig 938.
