Quick Poll (What would you do?)
Asking Major Airline pilots with a few years under their belt...
Assuming you plan to live in the Seattle area(or assume Boeing's plant was in your home town), would you :
- Prefer to work for Boeing as a production/test pilot for 170K/yr starting pay (top out in the low to mid 200s after 10-20 yrs). Mostly standard 40hr work week with 2-4hr flights nearly every weekday.
- Prefer to fly for a Major Airline.
- Prefer to fly for a Major Airline even if commuting.
I just need some objective perspective from the airline side (I already have a good idea what I'd be getting into on the Boeing side).
