Chimpy was excited to be leaving ExpressJet. Can’t say I blame him. That said, I’m not sure he was giving up turbine PiC time to come here, or losing out on regional skipper pay. (I’ll own my mistake if he says otherwise.). Either way, many of us are regional refugees, our elation at getting hired here was more or less a stay on a death sentence. Current Spirit management has shown they have little to no regard for civil employee relations. They still blame us for disruptions in their investor presentation, and haven’t forgiven us for their wrongful lawsuit. Keep that in mind when seeking employment here.
