Yup. Go to the 737 or 320 in EWR if you want to fly out of LGA. It would be insane, IMHO, to bid the 756 on the west coast and do the reverse commute for layovers at home.

If you can’t get EWR during indoc you’ll get it quickly on a following bid. Unfilled vacancies in EWR on the 737/320 are the norm and not the exception . And you can always move up to the 756 later.

I’m not up the current flying situation on the 320 but if you are local on the 737 you’ll be able to get plenty of LGA trips. The majority of locals live west of the river and most the commuters tend to prefer EWR.

Other than the small cadre of guys that live in Manhattan or Long Island, it seems like the LGA trips either go more junior (realitivly speaking) or disproportionately end up on the trade board.
