Also pay is more than dollars per hour. Are you able to partake in said 200% pay goodness on a day which you were scheduled to work? In limited quantities, yes; picking up an extra leg in the morning if you had an afternoon show, maybe. But otherwise, 200% is a day which you were not scheduled to work, so you have now traded time off (which for those of us who like are families is time with them) for 200%. The value position is yours to make, but you can't have both.
