And this isn't about making the front page of Yahoo news. You won't be breaking news if you don't hold the door for someone, but you are a douche. No one will report you to CNN if you talk loudly on your cell phone in the gate area, but everyone is laughing at you. Not all societal norms are news worthy but they are still things we as a society have chosen to do. Either you do and people are grateful. Or you don't and people make fun of you behind your back and judge you and everyone like you.
Ok why don’t you tip flight attendants then? They’re serving you, making you a drink, giving you food, responsible for your safety yet many still make less than that driver. Are you picking and choosing who to tip based on “social norms”? That’s ridiculous. Taking advantage of a free service provided by the hotel is not being a deuche. You are so full of it like the other guy said.. either way it’s not up for you to judge. You can handout your money, that doesn’t give you the right to judge the others especially when it’s not required or should be.
