NJ sounds like a dump after reading the threads here. Low pay, milk toast union, 0% chance of upgrading, hitch hike to and from the FBO/hotel, 6-8 leg days, all while picking up after some customer that’s a slob/idiot.
After my phone interview back in Sep-Oct 2017 the HR person called me back the next day for a face to face interview. I politely turned her down for reasons stated in this forum.
She asked about leadership style and methods.
She asked about customer interaction and problem solving.
She asked why NJ.
She asked what I thought I brought to the company.

It’s sad that now the demand for pilots is increasing in the US and pilot groups like NJ, that have held such prestige, are now stuck in a contract that quite frankly stinks.

Before you agree to a job flying those shiny jets, go sit at a Signature or Atlantic and talk to some of the guys and girls on the line.
