There are two job fairs, one is for family... That's half in my book.

Anyway, I take this as a positive. Most of the criticism of having job fairs falls apart under examination. Reaching out to applicants is common across many industries. Having a better look and getting to know applicants will lead to better hiring decisions and better cockpit partners for years to come. I do, however, wish we were doing job fairs like OBAP and WAI (unpopular opinion on this site) because applicants can meet with EVERY airline in one trip (1-3 days) versus jetting all over the country to these in house fairs. Maybe ALPA should just get every carrier together and do this and donate the cash to charity.
