For those considering the 756 as a new hire out of SFO or LAX, don't do it!, unless you live in base and really want to fly the 757. There is basically no 767 flying out of those bases so the pay is almost exactly the same as the 737/320. The categories are also much smaller so less variety of flying, less opportunity to trade, and your seniority will be lower than it would be on the 737/320. There is almost nothing better about the 756 except the aircraft itself is better to fly than the 737. You can always bid up to the 756 later, but it's better to get some seniority on the 737/320 and wait until you can hold 777 or 787 somewhere.
