Hey guys. So I've heard internal recommendations are great even if they are from family. I am not sure if it is true or if it will help, but my brother is a package truck driver for UPS. Would it help if he gave me a letter and is there a way for him to do any type of internal rec? Thanks for the input.
Unfortunately they’re no way for your brother to submit a recommendation for you because our internal referral system is designed so our current pilots may refer new pilots. All questions are very detailed and specific and pertain to a person’s flying experience, his or her safety record, ability to learn new aircraft systems, etc., etc.
Your brother might be able to send a regular letter to the HR but personally I doubt it’d help.
