I am a Chinese pilot and have about 9,000 hours of flying experience. I want to convert China's ATPL to FAA ATP, but the Civil Aviation Administration of China does not give me a verification letter. I was trainined in Australia and have a valid Australian CPL. The Australian Civil Aviation Authority has provided the FAA with a verification letter. What do I need to do next? There are many training institutions in Miami, and some say that I need to go to an FSDO to get the U.S. PPL, go to ATP-CTPcourse, and then make a reduced 737ng type rating, you can get FAA ATP, and some say you don't need to go to FSDO. Need a PPL, who really understands this process, please help me
