I tried escaping Fayetteville to that, along with most everything else, to avoid The Rock. Didn't work. Ended up enjoying my time as an 'FJ'!
Negative, I was down in Central America but I believe the mission was similar. I also escaped Fayetteville (40th TAS) to go down there. Got really tired of flying 5 hour TAC trainers around the flag pole, although the low level stuff was fun. Got to do a "real" mission down south. In fact it was real enough I got to learn what Mark Twain meant when he said "there is nothing so exhilarating as to be shot at and missed"
