They’re nuts then. We have never been more over staffed than we are right now. At the height of the Summer flying schedule and there is barely any open time in either seat, let alone premium. Hiring that many going into the Fall and Winter will be ugly not just for those of us already on property, but for new hires as well. I like to see new hires just like everyone else, but only when they are actually warranted.
From what i gather, open time has dried up in the right seat but the bulge has yet to work its way through the snake to the left seat. Once that happens wait for the fireworks. Not a problem until it affects captains.
