Actually, I have seen current posts on the union web forum so they are not shut down as you say. I think that forum simply fell out of favor with the pilot group because about half of the posts there were from 2 or 3 posters who wrote long winded rants about how bad the union was.
Major games are being played with this and other restrictions on anyone with dissenting opinions. They removed all the moderators months ago with the intention of shutting it down but other 1224 carriers use it, so that would have looked bad. Smoke and mirrors.
