Agreed. I was keying in more on the "leaving later." I think we can all agree that many times, even leaving 15 late, we will still land on time or early. IMHO, the rush to always get the plane out on time, has created some bad juju. Last week we had pax boarding a dirty jet because the red coat/gate agents were too scared of taking a delay...even after the Captain had told them to hold off boarding (while the cleaners would not answer our calls). Nothing like first class pax walking onto a 330 while the FAs are scrambling to do the cleaners jobs...
