I don't think that they'd simply print rumors from an anonymous internet forum (not making a commentary either way on said rumors, just that from a journalistic perspective that's all we have at the moment) So, where is this journalist going to go for attributable information on this latest chapter? Ms Pina? I think the probability is pretty low that she'd tell a reporter on the record; "Yeah, I had another episode in which I drank till I passed out and got taken off a flight, and now I'm being fired". Alaska Airlines? Not going to get anything more than "We don't publicly discuss internal personnel issues".
