Who do you think used to cover all those dropped trips in the first few days of the month someone got paid for while sitting at home? As of the signing date, we were instantly fat. Both the company and ALPA would agree to that, it’s the numbers they disagree slightly about. FWIW, the NC skirted this question when I asked them directly during negotiations. They said they had an estimated percentage staffing reduction in mind under PBS, but weren’t willing to share the number.
Lol if it’s an “educated guess” it’s probably a long ways off since I think it’s pretty obvious neither of us are in the know. All those things you just mentioned are a result of loosing paid transition drops, NOT PBS. So if you were to say that loosing transition reduced staffing levels then yes you would be right. Is it 100 pilots? 200 Pilots? No one knows. But it’s done now, move on. Us continuing to cry about it 5 months later does nothing.
