Don’t think you are bound to vote yes just bc it (barely) passed the MEC vote...and don’t think you are required to support everything in it for the same reason. You don’t have to like it, or not like it...just decide whether or not it’s meets your expectations.
Agreed. I also found myself wondering if a union would, during dragged out negotiations, ever put out a TA they think will get voted down so they can prove to the company how far off they are... Not saying that was the case here, just wondering if it has any place in the union playbook.
