My guess would be that most of the interviewers have had at least one speeding ticket. I like to think of speeding tickets as donations to the local PD or perhaps just a fee to get to where you are going faster.
I always tell my girlfriend when she gets on me about driving fast that there is a difference between "speeding" and driving quickly but safely. I only do the latter
