It would be nice to run into a VX crew that went out of their way to be friendly. As of late, I can't even get a "hi" in return. Oh well, I've had plenty of good interactions with ExVx and won't let it poison how I view the group as a whole.
More than one legacy VX Gate Agent has told me that when they try to chat up the legacy AS pilots, many are clearly uncomfortable/aloof....
Maybe that's why they don't bother to anymore?
