I dunno. I came from the 757 to the 777 and thought the 777 worked a lot better. I've seen countless people finger bang the vnav into uselessness instead of letting it do it's thing while keeping it engaged, though.
Nothing like watching a guy go through 4 different vertical modes while descending 2000'.
