It’s such a junior base many are making more than $500 more than they could at a lower cost base. There is a reason EWR and SFO are so junior. I could bid up a pay band if I went there but prefer to make less and spend less.

I only looked at one quick reference but for example, 777 FO

Junior IAH 8065
Junior SFO 10883

There are 113 guys making a heck of a lot more than $500 extra by choosing to be based there.

When did this airline become all about special carve-outs?
