I know of a 16 year LtCol Cobra pilot who just resigned from the Marine Corps and is taking a commission as a WO in the Army to fly spec ops rotors. He apparently lives and breaths sentence number 2 quoted above. That and he wants to be a part of the team that gets UBL.
