Yet, hiring was recently ramped-up full force. Anticipation for the DGI re-vamp? Something else? Delta Shuffle? Smoke and mirrors?
History is full of hiring as much as you can until you do an immediate 180 and furlough. Not saying this is the current situation, but airlines have shown historically to only know 2 ways of operating, full hiring or furloughing.
