The detriment to the USAir side comes from their perceived loss of attrition advancement assuming their airline could have exited CH 11 and stood on its own.
The real detriment to the AWA side comes from the 2+ years and now ongoing stagnation of their advancement up a seniority list.
Too bad, so sad for both sides ... NO ONE but management will win in this battle.
