But they won't. It's all reactive and never proactive. This is industry wide. Frankly, the airlines are betting on the following to happen:
1) Collapsing or declining economy (most likely to happen)
2) Age 65 rule becomes 67 (possibly)
3) Repeal of the 1500 hour rule (unlikely to happen)
It's always been about kicking the can down the road as far as it will go.
