The award was flawed because it did not take the retirement of the East pilots in to account. In five years, West pilots will dominate the list. A twenty year East pilot will be junior to a relative new hire from the West. That's just not right.
Ahhh. Look at the carriers before the merger. AWA was making money while AAA didn't have enough cash left to make payroll. The merger costs were placed on the west sides sheets since we were the
aquiring
airline Mr "know nothing at all".
As far as retirements go. It's awfully hard to retire from a liquadated company.
