You should have simply stuck with, "I don't know" because that is obvious. The union expended a lot of time and effort. It is just that you simply are unaware of it. Call your reps if you actually want to understand.

Boarding dates should be restored. The union should see the logic in this and insist upon a sense of fair-play. Equitable rules for things like this are just commonsense.
How about simply making pass travel based on mainline hire date? Is that equitable?
