Finally got some credible information.. pfft pathetic
I'm sorry if the truth offends you and I didn't mean to come off in an offensive manner, but it is simply the truth. The EMB-145 is already past its prime and is considered "outdated" by today's regional jet standards. ExpressJet's contract with UAL expires in 2022 and Air Wisconsin's contract with UAL expires no later than 2023. Both airlines provide 50 seat flying and its "interesting" that both deals have end dates within a year of one another. Additionally, it was just announced today that Republic Airways has signed a letter of intent for 100 E175s.
With everything that has been going on at XJT over the last 4 years and with SkyWest running the show, the E-175 will never be placed with ExpressJet Airlines. Period, end of story.
