I’d put my money on an aircraft/engine combination that has a long established history of safety and reliability especially if the future success of the company I was charged with depended on it. I can’t print the words to describe how happy I am every time I arrive at the gate and it’s an old stinky 319 sitting there and not a NEO.
Something tells me that the old reliable engine combination won’t be offered much longer.
