If you're one of those people who don't give a crud about what other people think of you...well expect to have no friends at work. That is the type of guy I will not go and have a drink with...or heck - even socialize with at all unless it is deemed completely, 100% necessary.
There is more to life than being succesfull on the Job. IMHO it's
how you get there, not how far. You don't have to be the top-dog everywhere you go...Personally, I find it more fulfilling and satisfying to have good relationships with those I know and love...as well as those I work with.
