I see your point. However, what you don't seem to get is that with TA 1 we are sowing the seeds of our own defeat. Much longer than 2 years. We are enshrining into it provisions that give management all kinds of tools to use against us (dependability policy being just one), while removing all of the leverage we could ever get (arbitration on new aircraft, industry standard year 1 pay but none of the other ones).
This TA is crafted perfectly to keep us from holding any kind of leverage in the future. What I can't believe is how little they will have to increase our pay before guys will jump at the chance to shoot themselves in the foot.
