Radar display is cool (is “cool” a word anymore?). It had symbols inside the cells showing thunder or hail etc. When they say engine has to spin up to 90 seconds before introducing fuel they mean it. Took the full 90 seconds. Also don’t put generator online until the red tic mark disappears. That takes longer too. As more come on line I suspect ramp may start asking why the delay.
Heard ramp ask for SWA in FLL when they first got it on the line. “Southwest you ready to go yet???”
