I wouldn’t choose a company based on 200s vs. 700s. It just doesn’t matter in the end. What does matter is that we have a little over 4 solid years left on our United contract, the ability to make good money due to work rules, great benefits, and fast movement on the seniority list. And those bonuses don’t hurt.

A pilot hired a year ago is now around 400 on the seniority list out of 550 (72%). A lot of this movement is FOs moving on to LCCs and ACMIs. Captains here have been slow to leave but the CPP (starting in Q4) will accelerate that end of things. The most junior captain is now 14 months in MKE.

Wait for a few weeks and it will be more clear how junior CAE is. If it’s another super junior base then it might be something to consider.

What do you mean when you say “conflict regarding moral”?
