I think we all have some very strong thoughts about how the MEC got to this point; however, I am very thankful they finally "got here"...but, no premature celebrations yet.

We need to standby and see what they actually do --- demand a side letter, file a a formal grievance, somehow challenge the current bid process.

I would hope/suggest they try their best to seek input from union members at large --- once again, there are 4,700+ very bright pilots at FEDEX and it would behoove everyone if there was some mechanism for folks to provide input.

(p.s....and IMHO there is no need for any type of explicit apologies. Even in Memphis, as in Asia, there is a strong need to publicly "save face".)
