I just got shot down for an interview with 1350/40 and a 4 year bachelor's degree in aircraft systems management. With all the problems they are having filling FO slots and the impending strike, they had the nerve to tell me I needed 200 multi or go to a bridge program.
I'm still paying my student loans so I can't justify the cost of a bridge program.
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
• 1000 hours total flight time (Preferred)
•
200 hours multi-engine time (Preferred)
Although it says preferred those are the published mins, you are entitled to nothing in this world. You were not a little shy, you were alot shy on multi. This in no way has any affect on your piloting skills as I am sure you are a good stick but dont hate the company because you dont meet the mins.
