Written by a person who has never had the pleasure of traveling the world. Seeing beautiful parts of the earth while in flight. Never stayed in hotels that one, unless very wealthy, would ever purchase on their own. Never had a job where they worked a 18 hour day, slept for 6 of it, had too much to eat of pretty good food, and was paid $240.00/hr for 15 of those hours.

It is not all about the money for me. It is all about quality of life. If I didn’t love what I do, I would get a job doing something else. I have been fortunate to be healthy enough, smart enough, and lucky enough, to end up flying airplanes for a living. If you don’t like it why are you doing it? If it is all about the money and you are intelligent enough to be an ATP you can go get an education and work a desk job making a lot more money.
