In hotels around airports I can have on a civilian polo, jeans, and a pair of running shoes. Frequent fliers and business people ask who I fly for. What gives it away? I knew I should not wear that hat when I go for a jog.
pilots tend to all dress a like, have the same haircut, and chances are they saw you hanging out with the crew. See a group composed of a middle aged white dude, young white dude, older black lady, and a gay Filipino man...yeah, they crew.
