Delta only wants 3 regional partners. American only wants 6. United has not yet said how many they want. I’m guessing somewhere between 3 and 6.

They also don’t like CRJs.

IF they want a wholly owned like their competitors, I’m guessing that wholly owned will fly E175s.

Skywest, Republic and Mesa have substantial contracts with Delta and/or AA. I don’t see UA buying any of them.

The wildcard IMO is what happens with flying 175s at mainline. I don’t see it happening because they could fly E2s in house, which would be more efficient and bringing E1s on top of that means a whole new engine type and a ton of different parts. Plus differences training. So we’ll see.....
