As I live in what it seems to be the worst region of the country to do flight training (Northern NJ) due to weather, constant TFRs (Thanks Trump), etc. X-Plane has proven to help me a lot between my flight lessons.

You just have to be very disciplined not to cut corners, do everything as you would exactly on a plane. I invested on a Yoke, Rudder Pedals and Throttle and I don't regret it. I just wish I had a better machine, but it does the what it needs to.
